It's big. Beware. And download it to see all it's glory *_*

I'm amazed at how simple this is o.0 Yet I love the clarity of it. Very interesting.

 I like the simplicity, it makes the scene seem so open. As for critique, the white on the pony is a bit bright, maybe just brighten the brown parts. Also, I think the shadow might be in the wrong direction.. It looks like the shadow on the grass in coming towards us. It would also add a little more the the (very cool looking) blue markings if you gave them a little shadows/highlights. I'm not sure if that would work well, but it's worth a try! I think it would help them blend better. Anyway, I really like the picture, thanks for using my stock! (PS, do you know what site it's being used on? Out of curiosity.. ;))

It's cute ^_^ I like it, simple doesn't always have to be looked down upon.

I love the feathers in the mane/tail. Very nice touch. The main thing that throws me off is the blue "paint" on the horse. While I like the idea, it looks very slapped on. The way I think of it, the paint would be put on with fingers, therefore I don't think it should have as much feathering as it does. And like romino says, I think you should try shadowing/highlighting, or perhaps fiddle with the blending modes. Er.. that's assuming you use photoshop. But something along those lines.

Anywho, on a general note, you are coming along so well in your skills. Very nice. :)

Thanks for the great critique, I'll deff try out some of your suggestions! And yeah, I'm still having trouble wuth my shadows, can't figure out what to do with them often >__>

=D

I use GIMP, but thus far it seems to be virtually the same as psp pr ps, albeit without all the bells and whistles ;D

I’m gonna play with it when I have time, tho - I’ll definitely keep your suggestions for the paint in mind ^__^

And thanks - I was really worried about the feathers, but I think they turned out nicely J good to hear others think so, too.

Oh, nifty! And you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for it. x]

Well, keep up the excellent work. Glad I could help in any way.

I really like the simplicity of this one. =)
It makes it look.... free. lol (I'm tired/sick so my vocabulary is very limited XD haha)
I really do like the feathers in the mane/tail, but the blue paint.... is very bright. It looks drawn on lol.
I think maybe an effect might help that (I don't know how GIMP works... lol) But I hope you know what I mean.
=) Overall it looks very nice, and the watermark doesn't take away from it, either. ^_^ Very nicely done!
